About Reggie
4 year old Azil is our BFS (Big Friendly Stafford) and is everything a Stafford Bull Terrier should be. He is the softest, most docile and placid dog who is such a lovable, gentle creature. Always eager to please and happy and willing to do as he is asked, Azil is a ready-made pet and will very quickly adjust to a new home environment. He has a wonderful temperament and is great fun to be around. His favourite activities include playing chase and 'catching' water from the garden hose. He especially loves his cuddles and although he enjoys being the centre of attention he is also a very independent dog who is quite happy in his own company and can be left for reasonable amounts of time unattended.
Azil loves his walks and is a medium energy dog. He will require at least 1 or 2 hours of good exercise a day. He is a big, stocky Stafford who will need someone fairly strong and fit to walk him but he is incredibly well-mannered when out and about and doesn't pull on the lead. He will completely ignore other dogs, is happy to walk alongside them and is not fazed by them at all but like some Staffords, he can be a little bit choosy about the ones he likes, so he is looking for a home where he is the only dog and with no cats.
Although he enjoys his daytime naps Azil can be a lively and active dog and his ideal home will be where he will be very much a part of a family and enjoy lots of outdoor pursuits and playtime.
Azil has previously lived with children. However, we have placed a minimum age of 12 years on any children in a potential home.
Azil sleeps well at night, is fully housetrained and travels well in the car. He is a great all-round fun and friendly dog who will make his new family very proud. With so much love to give he is perfect for any family who knows and understands his breed.
