CHESTER

10 year young Chester is a most wonderful dog. He is a superb example of a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and despite his years he is one of the fittest and most agile dogs ever known to us for his age. His needs are very minimal and he is constantly happy, wagging his tail for most of the day. A sheer delight, Chester is an absolute joy and pleasure to be around.

He is a calm, well-mannered and well-behaved dog who is a dream to take out for a stroll. He previously lived with another dog and is not fazed by other dogs passing by - he will always choose to mind his own business and ignore them. However, like all dogs, Chester does not appreciate being ambushed by dogs off the lead and will make it known.

His exercise routine would consist of lots of ball play and one good walk a day. He is a low to medium energy dog and once he has had his morning exercise he is happy and content to ly in his bed or potter around the house. Chester is happy and content to be home alone for reasonable amounts of time (4 - 4.5hours), so would suit a working family if there was someone who could tend to him halfway through the day. He is non-destructive although he does like to move the odd sock around!

His favourite things in life are playing ball, beaches and the sea, and receiving belly rubs. He also very much loves his grub which makes teaching him new things a really easy thing to do.

Chester's ideal new home would be one where he can receive lots of love and attention, first thing in the morning play and getting out and about for a stroll.

Chester would be suitable to be rehomed to a family with children aged 8 years or above.

Chester walks well on the lead, sleeps well at night and loves to travel in the car.

Chester is eligible for our Senior Stafford Scheme whereby money to the value of £1000 is set aside for any unexpected veterinary bills (excluding vaccinations and worming treatment) should it be needed post-adoption. More details on request.
